I'm evaluating a multi-media course on blogging from the folks at Simpleology. For a while, they're letting you snag it for free if you post about it on your blog.

It covers:

  • The best blogging techniques.
  • How to get traffic to your blog.
  • How to turn your blog into money.

I'll let you know what I think once I've had a chance to check it out. Meanwhile, go grab yours while it's still free.

Gorgeous Eyes - Eyeliner Tricks

Match eyeliner colors to your iris: Brown eyed girls have the most choices; pretty much any color will look great. Hazel eyes shine with purples or indigo. Now green eyes really glow with aubergine or bronze highlights. Blue eyes sparkle with gold, brown or copper eyeliners.

Be bold, your eyeliner doesn’t just have to go on the lash line. Try applying it to the crease of your eyelid or spread it over the entire lid. You can also take a fine tipped, angled brush and with synthetic eyeliner decorate your shoulders or cheeks with little tattoos.

Alter The Shape of Your EYES
To make eyes look rounder make the eyeliner wider in the center of the line and thinner as it comes to the edges of the eye. To get cats eyes, accentuate them by elongating the liner at the outside of your eye then angle the line up toward your forehead.

Bring wide set eyes closer by drawing eyeliner around the entire eye, emphasizing the inner corner. To make eyes look bigger have the upper and lower lines met at the outer corner of your eye.

Money Saving Beauty Tips

A makeup artist was sharing some of her save money tips that we thought we should pass along. Hope they help.

When you’ve used your lipstick down to the rim, don’t toss it. There is still a quarter of a tube left. Dig it out, then put it in a pillbox, use a lip brush to apply.

You can make brown eyeshadow work as eyeliner and eyebrow filler by changing your makeup brush.

Blend your favorite moisturizer in your palm with your regular coverage foundation, it will last longer and give a more sheer finish.

Don’t toss your nail polish when it thickens (its exposure to air that does it) just add a few drops of polish thinner (not remover) and it will apply smoothly. These are available at beauty supply stores.
